The Ortanique is a cross between a tangerine, orange and unique fruit (another sweet-citrus). They have an extremely sweet and juicy, well-balanced flavour. The flesh is a rich orange colour, as is the peel, which may also have some brown patches.

The ortanique originates from Jamaica and is a relatively new cross-breed of citrus fruit.

ORTANIQUE are classed as a fruit.

Treat exactly the same as oranges. Ortaniques are particularly good for juicing due to their super-sweet flavour.
